With this last restoration, the reinforced concrete roofs have been eliminated, replaced with wooden roofs, the floor has been remade with hand-made tiles of Caltagirone. In the south-est tower the roof has been made in cement because it must give ospitality to the power station. Some architectural stone elements, as for example, the window on the courtyard, similar to those originals have been rebuilt. But the stone was built with a different decoration to point out the difference. The inside staircase has been recovered too while, the first part of it has been completely remade using a type of red marble, similar to the original one.

The leading to the tower staircase has been made in wood with an iron frame, not to create a historic false. Even if  an old legend tells us about two underground passages which linked the castle to the tower in Monte Bonifato and the Bianchi church, they were not found, but only two wells in the courtyard without any building frame were found ( so they were not old underground passages).
