Whether quarterback Andrew Luck actually throws behind them remains to be
seen Vikings Cheap Jerseys , but
the Colts at least like the progress they’ve made putting together a new
offensive line.
That was one of General Manager Chris Ballard’s priorities, and the first
look at the line offers some reason to think there’s a better chance to protect
Luck.
According to Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star, the Colts were
without left tackle Anthony Castonzo in OTAs (no reason was given), so they
lined up聽Denzelle Good at left tackle, Quenton Nelson at left guard, Ryan Kelly
at center, Matt Slauson at right guard and Austin Howard at right tackle.
That right side being made up of veteran acquisitions is no accident, and
using the No. 6 overall pick on Nelson seemed designed to provide a toughness to
the team as much as an individual player.
Slauson and Howard are also reliable veterans, which helps since the Colts
have struggled up with young players front in recent years.
鈥淭here just needs to be a mental toughness and a leadership with guys who are
all in and can mentally and physically do it play in and play out,鈥?coach Frank
Reich said. 鈥淭hose guys have proven that over their career and they鈥檙e stepping
up in their leadership role and really setting the tone for us, not only as an
offensive line, but really as an offense in general.鈥?/p>
The Colts also used one of their second-rounders on guard Braden Smith,
adding another high pick to the mix. It’s a promising start, and if their
quarterback actually ever throws again, they should be improved.

The Cowboys are releasing defensive end Kony Ealy. Released offensive lineman
Chaz Green. They also will cut running back Bo Scarbrough, running back Darius
Jackson, defensive end Charles Tapper, safety Jeron Johnson, cornerback Marquez
White and receiver Lance Lenoir. The Cowboys announced their roster moves
Saturday, releasing kicker Dan Bailey, receiver Deonte Thompson, receiver Dres
Anderson, offensive guard Kyle Bosch, offensive tackle Jake Campos, receiver
K.D. Cannon, receiver Darren Carrington, running back Jordan Chunn, long snapper
Scott Daly, offensive tackle Matt Diaz, defensive end Kony Ealy, offensive
lineman Chaz Green, running back Darius Jackson, safety Jeron Johnson,
linebacker Tre'von Johnson, cornerback Kam Kelly, linebacker Joel Lanning,
defensive end Austin Larkin, receiver Lance Lenoir Jr., offensive guard Damien
Mama, receiver Mekale McKay, defensive tackle Lewis Neal, center Jacob
Ohnesorge, cornerback Donovan Olumba, linebacker Eric Pinkins, linebacker Kyle

New York Giants
The Giants released linebacker Mark Herzlich. They also released聽incumbent
starting safety Darian Thompson (injured), safety Andrew Adams, wide receiver
Roger Lewis, Jr., defensive backs Leonard Johnson and Chris Lewis-Harris,
offensive lineman Chris Scott, and linebacker Avery Moss. Linebacker聽Jordan
Williams was waived-injured Authentic
Kolton Miller Jersey , and the following players were waived:
Running backs Jalen Simmons and Jhurell Pressley; wide receivers Roger Lewis,
Jr., Kalif Raymond, Travis Rudolph, Alonzo Russell, Marquis Bundy, Amba
Etta-Tawo, and Jawill Davis; tight ends Ryan O鈥橫alley and Garrett Dickerson;
offensive linemen Malcolm Bunche, Zac Kerin, and Victor Salako; defensive

Philadelphia
The Eagles waived quarterbacks Joe Callahan and Christian Hackenberg. Waived
running back Donnel Pumphrey. Released wide receiver Kamar Aiken, defensive
lineman Steven Means and wide receiver Markus Wheaton. Placed defensive tackle
Timmy Jernigan on the non-football injury list and safety Chris Maragos on the
physically unable to perform list. Waived/injured cornerback DJ Killings, tight
